Governor to tour Wilmerding firm with plan to boost jobs – Nov. 12, 2003

Thomas Rigging Co. (TRC) Industries in Wilmerding has launched a proposal that would create and maintain jobs in Allegheny County.

State Rep. Paul Costa is enthusiastic about the proposal and has joined forces with state Sen. Sean Logan in hopes of drawing assistance from the state to help initiate the proposal, which is aimed at improving processing capabilities by upgrading vintage equipment.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for maintaining and creating jobs in the Turtle Creek Valley,” Costa said.

He and Logan have invited Gov. Ed Rendell to tour TRC’s facilities today (Wednesday).
